Introduction

ResourceKraft produces a range of product lines dedicated to the management of enterprise energy costs.

All of these product lines are based on the ResourceKraft Konnect software platform —- an enterprise-grade software framework for the intelligent monitoring, management and analysis of demand-side energy data and energy costs. This document merely serves to outline the product lines at a high level.

Advisor 9

ResourceKraft Advisor is a web-based energy management cost control system. Leveraging Konnect, it gathers, processes and analyses energy data from meters and / or third party systems and converts it into business information, enabling organizations to understand how and where energy is being consumed at any given time across all sites.

ResourceKraft Advisor enables organizations to incorporate KPIs, set targets, generate reports and involve management and staff to make informed energy management decisions in the drive to reduce energy costs and meet carbon commitments.

EnergyBuyer

ResourceKraft Energy Buyer permits customers to be more effective in their procurement of energy. With Energy Buyer, customers can project their energy usage for the next year, formulate a tender requesting utilities and energy suppliers to quote and then have those quotes automatically evaluated.

This can greatly assist in the procurement of energy as energy tariffs can be notoriously complex and difficult to evaluate and compare. Energy Buyer is delivered using secure web technologies.

Energy Konnect

Konnect can serve as a framework for the development of stand-alone applications or its services may be incorporated into workflows in service oriented architectures (SOA). Based on open standards, the Konnect framework is hardware and operating system agnostic. It is a non-invasive system, acquiring data independently while providing information integration with the enterprise.

Konnect provides a universal interface to data acquisition, supporting sources that range from utility meters and tanked assets to buildings management systems. Any software adhering to ResourceKraft’s simple, open protocol can provide data through the framework.

At the core of Konnect is a data model designed to support its role as an energy data mart in the enterprise. The concept hierarchies modelled in Konnect are amenable to on-line analytical processing (OLAP). This enables a range of third-party tools to integrate with Konnect as a component of the organisation’s business intelligence (BI) infrastructure.

Advisor 9 iPhone App

ResourceKraft’s Advisor App for Apple’s iPhone and iPad helps users of ResourceKraft Advisor to be aware of their organisation’s energy usage wherever they are. The app immediately and securely connects to ResourceKraft’s servers using the users own login credentials.

Users can view energy usage and cost details and emerging trends as well as being informed of important alerts and information. The app can be procured from Apple’s App Store.
